The product has yet to show up. No one, from this outside vendor, and Amazon could/would give me straight answers. No tracking data provided, the ‘manager’ or such a good deal of random teen from this outside vendor, employed caps in the email, saying he did not have to tell me anything with regards to his company, when I asked what was going on, where is my item, what is the tracking number, what is your phone number? Absolutley nothing. Any legite company would give correct, contact information, if anything a tracking number. Emails as the only contact, is bogus. That is not customer service. This mysterious person claims it’s on it is way. It’s now a week late. And still, NO tracking information. I am not expecting anything grand. I am far from being impressed now. With my luck, it’s a piece of crap. Used or not, the service is horrible, will never go through them again.

I purchased this item in order to load a decent compiler on an old Windows 95 machine…why DOS? Well, I am making my way through numerous classic game programming books (see Andre LaMothe) that require that you fiddle with the assembler and “own the hardware.” It is a outstanding experience in understanding what it took to formulate games like Doom and Quake when you had to code to the metal. This compiler is sweet and easy to applied I wish the tools (IDE) today were as straightforward and simple to applied I am not sure how a lot of humans want to go way back in time merit would be purely for personal satisfication to code the old-fashioned way. I wonder how I missed the boat the basi time around. This is a great product for its time.

Purchased October 2011 (after a new version was already out) for $100! The new version runs for $600! And I am surprised at the fact that this version is not even that old. You may run this version with updates for years to come, and for a fraction of the price!

I don’t like the new Peachtree Sage products We have had not one thing but trouble since we updated. It has lost information and it took hours to get technological help on line and on the phone. We waited on the phone from around 10:00, ate lunch with the phone on speaker, finished our meal and returned from our kitchen to the office and still no one was on the phone. Just that annoying music and occasional commercial. We still do not have the problem fixed after all that. We need another systems

I have been using Peachtree since the 2004 version, upgrading every 2-3 years. This is my basi time to use the multi-user version. Sage Peachtree does a fine job of holding track of our business income and expenses. It is good at managing inventory items. It has a set of reports that work for most things, but creating customized reports is a bit tricky.

The keyboard shortcuts are not well designed, which is frustrating. The 2011 version changed a shortcut I often times used. The multi-user version makes backing up and changing client IDs difficult, because all users have to log out and even then, the program often leaves locked files that cause problems.

Overall, I am pleased. Peachtree integrates well with ShipRush, the new shipping software we are using.

I recently upgraded Microsoft Office to 2010 and was surprised to see that Peachtree 2008 would no longer export reports to Excel. So I purchased Peachtree 2011 believing that it would have no problem communication with Microsoft Office 2010 but that is not the case. I contacted Peachtree support and they confess they acknowledge it is a problem but they do not have a time frame for a repair nor do they have a work around.

On top of that problem, the Peachtree 2011 update is not any better than 2008. Peachtree 2011 is still exceedingly slow when using it on multiple computers. I utterly hate Peachtree and can not wait for the day that my little office moves on to a different accounting software package.

I use Red Hat Enterprise Linux as a home desktop OS because that is what we use at work. also Red Hat is very strong whether or not you are going to run it as a server – not as a workstation. whether or not you do programming with non-gcc compilers, like Intel’s compiler, Red Hat is a good distro because it has strong compiler assist support assist such a lot of people have disturb becoming Intel’s compiler to work right on a Debian based strategy like Xandros. But SUSE would be fine in this regard. Also, Red Hat gives almost no suitable phone or email support. But I doubt the other distros give any suitable support either. You may also get in regards to the same thing from Red Hat by becoming their free Fedora edition. deserves to try.

For what this redhat workstation cost me, one would think that it would work like it should. Software patches, how many bugs can this Redhat have, I have never seen so many patches to download in my life. I expended hours downloading and the system would hang up and quit responding! This has to be the greatest over-rated bunch of NON-working software I have ever purchased. If you liked Windows 3.1 then this is for you. Not only that at least Windows has applications, this Redhat has a bunch of applications that don’t work, or you can’t figure them out……

If time was money I would be a rich woman after spending hours with my pc thanks to linux. It is in regards to as easy getting widgets to work as have dental work without numbing medication. Whoever states that Linux is cheaper to run than Windows does not own a business. After using Parallels at home to triple boot OSX,Ubuntu Linux and Vista, this VMware I use at work with my XP laptop to run server 2003 for our controls strategies Vista and any of the windows server version made after 2003 are unreliable. Even when just dual booting with VMware for XP and Server 2003 is really slow and thats with 3gb of ram. The product itself is beauteous stable but when it freezes it freezes solid. Still cool to have two computers in one. Vmware is passible at best, Fusion is swell and Parallels can’t be beat for virtual machine software due to it’s impressive reliability and performance equated to the others.

This application is terrific. VMWare Workstation eliminates, for most apps at least, the requirement for dual or multiple boot systems. For example, you can switch operating systems with the click of a mouse button. I have really had three operatiing systems running concurrently on my system.

From the time I loaded the VMWare CD Rom into my disk drive until I had an operational SuSe Linux running in a virtual machine under Windows 2000 Professional was fewer than three hours. I took a little longer to get the full functionality of Linux; however, this was my problem, not VMWare’s. I see no observable performance degradation when running normal Linux applications; however, because of the limitations of the virtual display’s such a lot of 3-D intensive application may not work. Note: I am running a 64-bit Athlon processor with 4-gig of ram, and 2 120 gig hard drives. One is NTFS and the other is Linux formatted. After much research research shock at the highpriced prices on other courses) I decided to go with Visual Link Spanish. Am I glad I did! It is a stand alone computer teacher that my kids all use without my assistance, there is an easy to use lesson, games and vocabulary exercise – all of which my children in truth enjoy! There are CD’s for use in the car. I took the course too – and we were all speaking full sentences the original day, enriching daily. I have now purchased level II and level III which I will teach this year. I systematically commend this product to all my friends. Its so lowcost and highly effective. We visit our favored Mexican restaurant ofttimes and our sweet waitress speaks only Spanish to us so my kids can get real life exercises We have learned how to speak, read and write Spanish. I have Levels 1 through 3 of which I have completed 1 and 2 and am currently working my way through Level 3. Level 3 is where the majority of the verb tenses are located. Maybe it’s just me- but here in sunny So. Cal, I cannot use it at all for the duration of the day after 9 am or so when the sun ramps up. The screen is nearly invisible- in fact I almost crashed attempting to see its If they could come up with something that I could see- it would be great. Also battery life is very limited- I get about 4 1/2 hours. On the other hand- the data available is fantastic- everything you ever wanted to recognise and then a bunch. For night rides (under 4 1/2 hours that is)- its the total bomb- works awsomely with back light. In summary- I regret to say that I re-mounted my IBike Aero Gen III on the bike and am staying with its It doesnt have rather as much information selective information still PLENTY) – but its small, very effective, very visible display, way less expensive, LONG battery life, and I can see it with my helmet light. For me the Aero is a no brainer. Selling my Dash.

I was finelooking unimpressed with this software user interface. There is very small that’s intuitive, the graphics are cheesy compared to such a lot of others on the market, and it makes me feel like I wasted my money by trying to save money. I’d rather pay $500 and have something intuitive. Don’t misinterpret this review… I’m well aware a learning curve exists with this type of software, but this one is over the top. I’m going to try Chief Architect Pro’s 30 day trial to decide whether or not it’s that much better.

I had to select one commence to write this review. I purchased this software because it states that it allows one to add .wav files to the presentations What good does that do you if you can’t produce a demonstrations It is very difficult to employed I couldn’t even angle a wall. Stick to the Punch products, and don’t buy them at Best Buy. They told me at the check-out that they had a 30 day interchange policy. This is not true. You may only interchange it for the same software. Plus, I don’t think the laborers even care if Best Buy stays in business.

This is a swell program. I was very excited to get it is When it came, I locked myself in my home office with such a lot of headphones and lost all track of time. I was up until the middle of the night creating beats and building a new song.

Gotta hand it to Adobe for giving such a generous discount to students equated to Apple. Everything works just like it would with the normal retail copy. My only complaint is you have to wait a day or two for Adobe to approve your student status. They have you send them a photo/scan of your ID, transcript, etc to show you are in fact a student or whatever.

Oh and I don’t acknowledge if it’s a new thing since the last reviewer purchased CS5.5, but when Adobe emailed me my serial number they also included a 32bit CS4 serial and a serial for Color Finesse 3.
